Jackson’s MMA Series XX headlined by Moreno vs. Yohn
December 3rd at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino, Jackson MMA Series XX will take place with a Middleweight main event pitting powerful puncher Josh Moreno against talented wrestler Sonny Yohn.
Moreno, who splits his time between the JacksonWink Academy & Judgement MMA, made his pro debut at KOTC: Will Power, knocking out Mike Cook in 32 seconds.
Yohn made his pro debut at Jackson’s MMA Series 19, scoring a 2nd round TKO of Tuuga Pleasant, and followed it up with a RFA 43 2nd round rear naked choke of Tyler Vogel.
The co-main event will see the return of “The San-I Warrior”, as Angelo Sanchez faces Ontario
Canada’s Dave Hale. Sanchez is a former King of the Cage World Champion, who retired after his last fight in 2014, where he ended a 3 fight skid with a first round rear naked choke of Brian Castillo. In May Hale ended a 2 fight skid with a first round rear naked choke of Thomas Summantri.
The pro side of the card will also see Cody Yohn, coming off a RFA 43 unanimous decision win over John Alford, facing Brandon Jones, who’s making his pro debut, having ended his amateur run at Jackson’s MMA Series XIV, with a unanimous decision win over Charles Deleon.
The amateur side of the card features 5 undefeated fighters and 3 fighters stepping into the cage for the first time. The Bantamweight match-up between one loss Chris Rojas and undefeated Mark-Matthew McDill has the potential to steal the show.
