The UIC Pavilion located on the University of Illinois at Chicago Campus hosts Glory 50, featuring 2 championship contests & a 4-man Heavyweight tournament.
The Super Fighter Series portion of the event is headlined by Christian “Bad News” Baya (60-5-1) of the Netherlands challenging ”Killer Kid” Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong (118-30-5) of Thailand for the Glory Lightweight title.
The Glory main card will see a 4-man heavyweight tournament featuring Junior “The Juggernaut” Tafa (18-1, 13 KO)fighting out of Australia, Guto Inocente (34-8, 17 KO) fighting out of Brazil, Benjamin “Mister Gentleman” Adegbuyi (28-5, 16 KO,) fighting of the Netherlands, & D’Angelo “U.S.” Marshall (17-2, 9 KO) fighting of the Netherlands.
In the main event Harut Grigorian (46-11) of the Netherlands looks to dethrone Murthel “The Predator” Groenhart (67-22-3) of the Glory Welterweight title. These two fought at Glory 42, Groenhart caught Grigorian with a flying knee that knock off a peace of felsh. Grigorian turned away from Groenhart who legal went after and knocked out Grigorian with a right hook. Both corner and fans from in the crowd would storm the rin in one of the scariest scenes in Glory history.
