Nowhere to Run 2 Weigh-in Results
United Fit the same venue which will host tomorrow nights amateur kickboxing event hosted today’s weigh-in’s for Nowhere to Run 2, presented by NG Enterprise LLC. Weigh-in video, weight, photos, and info on two special attractions.
- 215 lbs.: Mark Hussey (214.5) vs. Luke O’Connor (213)
- 115 lbs.: Thane Ring (107) vs. Jacob Fredrickson (108)
- 148 lbs.: Val Guervara (144) vs. Miguel Gonzalez (148)
- 190 lbs.: Michael McQueen (184) vs. Carlos Montoya (193)
- Exhibition: Steelman (165) vs. Seth Abeita (190)
- 145 lbs.: Jacob Stone (143) vs. Sean Glover (145)
- 135 lbs.: Alexander Alayon (135) vs. Derrick Pringle (134)
- Grappling Exhibition 145 lbs.: Jesse Tafoya (145) vs. Jerome Rivera (145)
As mentioned in the video above the opponent for Steelman pulled out and it was decided that he would compete in an exhibition. At first it was announced he’d face Andrew Tenneson. It was later decided that it be better to put in a fellow amateur, insert Seth Abeita a fellow JacksonWink fighter. A second exhibition will take place as pro fighters Jesse Tafoya & Jerome Rivera will compete in a No-Gi grappling contest set for a 1 round 6 minute, submission only affair.
Tomorrow night the doors at United Fit open at 5 pm. The first bell is set for 6 pm. Tickets are 20$ for adults, kids under 12 are free, and tickets will be available at the door. The Caged Minds will be streaming the event on Facebook.
