Bellator returns to London with a Middleweight title Rematch

Johnny Eblen & Fabian Edwards will run it back in September.

Bellator Championship Series London has been announced for September 14th at the OVO Wembley. The main event will see Fabian Edwards challenging Johnny Eblen for the Bellator Middleweight championship for a second time.

Their first meeting at Bellator 299 in Ireland last September produced a dynamic finish as Eblen knocked down Edwards and hammered his way to the stoppage.

Eblen (15-0) followed up the performance by taking a split decision win over 2023 PFL Light-Heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay at the PFL vs Bellator champions event. A tenacious wrestler Eblen has shown to have an evolving striking game a difference making power.

Edwards (13-3) went on a three fight win streak knocking out Lyoto Machida, and taking decisions over Charlie Ward & Gegard Mousasi to earn his title shot at Bellator 299. In March at the Bellator Championship Series Belfast Edwards beat Aaron Jeffery by unanimous decision in a title eliminator to hold onto the number one contender spot.
