The Co-op Live in Manchester London hosts UFC 304 where Leon “Rocky” Edwards defends the UFC Welterweight championship against Belal “Remember the Name” Muhammad. The fight is the second installment of Edwards-Muhammad saga.
The first meeting in 2021 was ruled a no contest when Muhammad couldn’t continue after being poked in the eye. The champion comes in unbeaten in his last 12 fights, Edwards last three wins have come in the championship setting. Muhammad is unbeaten in his last 9 fights, his standing TKO win over Sean Brady at UFC 280 sticks out from the bunch.
The co-main event is also a rematch this one has the interim UFC Heavyweight title on the line as Tom Aspinall defends against Curtis Blaydes. Blaydes checked a kick that caused a fight ending injury two years ago. Aspinall has returned from injury to win two fights by knockout including claiming the interim. Blaydes is four-months removed from a second-round knockout of Jailton Almeida.
