
Nowhere to Run 14 Results, Big Finishes End the Show
The Final Nowhere to Run event of 2024 had heated back a forth action topped by a trio of knockouts.
Andrew Flores from Jackson’s Acoma ended the event in highlight reel fashion knocking down Jose Escamilla Flores of JacksonWink’s twice. The finsh came half way through the seconds round as Andrew cracked Jose with a left head.
Santa Fe Gracie Barra’s Malikeye Orozco made a statement in the co-main event knocking down Rosales’s Phillip Simmons twice in the first round. Simmons beat the ten-count the first-time and Orozco jumped right on him a right hook put an end to the bout at 1:59 of the first round.
Perez Fighting Systems Samule Akin defeated Joshua Curtis in a high pace affair by unanimous decision. Both fighters launched big punches and chopping low kicks. Akin’s right hand was the difference maker forcing Curtis to back up.
Tay Woods from Nobody’s Villians scored the cards first knockout putting Seve Preciado out with a switch stance left jab 55 seconds the third round. Preciado was the party pressing forward landing his straight left but Woods stayed calm kept working and found the perfect shot for a one punch knockout.
Frankie Baca from Nobody’s Villians defeated Mario Ontiveros from Elite Kickboxing by unanimous decision. Baca set a high pace rushing forward with straight punches and blasting knees once on the inside. Ontiveros earned respect in the third tagging Baca with a trio of straight lefts to be the forward moving party in the final moments.
Kyle Showell-London representing Elite Kickboxing defeated Miquel Hernandez from Force of One by split decision. The Showell-London mix of jabs and uppercuts earned him the hlwin over Hernandez’s consistent bodywork.
Isaac Hernandez from the Martial Club beat Sonny Perez from Bushido MMA by unanimous decision. Hernandez displayed a strong jab cross combination and kept pushing forward the whole fight.
The opening bout on the card saw Jesus Montelongo of Elite Kicking Boxing defeated Hector Contreras from JacksonWink MMA by unanimous decision. Montelongo had a strong start to the fight pushing forward and landing his right hand. Contreras came back in the third to make the final round an exciting brawl but wasn’t enough to overcome a slow start.
