APFC Debuts in the Duke City July 27th
Anthony Pettis Fighting Championship will be debuting in the Duke City this summer.
Sunday July 27th APFC 19 will take place at the Isleta Resort & Casino. The Promotion founded by the final WEC & former UFC Lightweight champion is coming to one of his favorite cities in the country Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Middleweights take the Marquee as unbeaten Roland Dunlap battles Jacksonwink fighter Dahlen Wilson. They are on a combined nine-fight win streak.
Dunlap’s (4-0) start includes two wins in LFA and one in the PFL. The Milwaukee prospect’s last two fights have ended in controversial fashion. In his Karate Combat debut ended after he landed illegal punches to the back of Michale Cora’s head and his title opportunity at APFC was cut short due to an illegal knee to a grounded fighter.
Wilson is in the midst of a career best five-fight win streak. The first four of those wins came as Welterweight. A near fatal weight cut in 2024 made the decision for Wilson that it was time to move up. His debut as a full fledged Middleweight Wilson won a gritty decision handing highly talked about prospect James Romero his first career loss.
Also on the card Camada’s TJ Laramie faces American Jordan “The Jackal” Downey. Laramie is on a three-fight win streak since a short stint with the UFC. Downey is in a four-fight win streak with three wins in MMA, all first round finishes, and one win in Muay Thai.
Plus, LFA vet Jalin “The Gentleman” Fuller returns to MMA off a successful Muay Thai debut against “Big” Mac Larsen a rear naked choke specialist.
