UFC Shanghai Results

For the first time since 2017, the Octagon returns to Shanghai, bringing a stacked 12-fight card to the Shanghai Indoor Stadium. A high-stakes showdown between ranked light heavyweights headlines the event.

In the main event, Brazil’s No. 13-ranked Johnny Walker takes on China’s surging contender, No. 14-ranked Zhang Mingyang. Walker, known for his explosive style, boasts 16 career knockouts — including six first-round finishes in the UFC. Meanwhile, Zhang rides a 12-fight win streak, with none of those bouts making it past the first round.

The co-main event features a clash between elite grapplers, as former bantamweight champion Aljamain “Funk Master” Sterling moves up to face two-time featherweight title challenger Brian “T-City” Ortega. Both men are submission specialists, each holding eight victories by tapout.

The card also has a top ten Heavyweight bout with number three ranked Sergei Pavlovich facing number six ranked Waldo Cortez-Acosta.
