The main event of BKFC 80 features a highly anticipated rematch between unbeaten Cuban knockout artist Leonardo Perdomo and former heavyweight champion Arnold Adams. Their first clash ended in controversy—Perdomo struck Adams while he was down during the first knockdown and failed to take a neutral corner after the second, leading to a disputed ten-count and a victory clouded in debate.
In the co-main event, featherweight title implications are on the line as undefeated prospect Edgard Plazaola takes on BKFC Europe Featherweight Champion Gary Fox in a high-stakes cross-continental showdown.
Also making headlines, legendary combat sports veteran Yoel “Soldier of God” Romero—an Olympian and former UFC title contender—makes his much-anticipated debut in the bare-knuckle arena.
However, the card did take a late hit as Kimbo Slice Jr. was pulled after no-showing the weigh-ins, delaying his long-awaited debut.
The action kicks off with three prelim bouts streaming free on BKFC’s YouTube channel at 7 p.m. ET, followed by the main card at 8 p.m. ET exclusively on the BKFC app.
