Dvalishvili-Yan 2 Headlines UFC 323; Pantoja vs. Van, Cejudo’s Return Also Set

Merab Dvalishvili will attempt to become the first champion to defend four times in one calendar year when he puts the UFC Bantamweight title on the line in the main event of UFC 323 against former champion Petr Yan. No strangers, Dvalishvili current 14-fight win streak includes a unanimous decision over Yan in 2023. He won the title in impressed fashion and somehow each defense has been that much more jaw-dropping. Since losing to Dvalishvili, the number two ranked Yan has run off three decision wins in a row.

In the co-main event Alexandre Pantoja will defend the UFC Flyweight title against the number one contender Joshua Van. Pantoja has put together the second greatest Flyweight title reign in UFC history with four near dominate victories. The BJJ specialist will have since hands full with the heavy-handed sharp boxing of Joshua Van. Van earned this opportunity with a five-fight win streak that includes a decision win over former title challenger Brandon Royval.

Former Flyweight champion, Mexico’s Brandon Moreno the number two ranked contender will take on number five ranked Japanese submission artist Tatsuro Taira in the cards feature fight.

Former two division champion, number ten ranked Bantamweight Henry Cejudo will fight surging prospect Payton Talbott.

Plus, former Light Heavyweight champion, number four tangled contender Jan Blachowicz faces number eleven Bogdan Guskov in a showdown between sluggers.

UFC 323 is set for December 6th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
