Since suffering the first loss of his career, Brazil’s Gabriel Bonfim has rebounded impressively, putting together a three-fight win streak. The 28-year-old broke into the rankings this summer with a split-decision victory over former title challenger Stephen Thompson. While it was a win, the performance left something to be desired — and Bonfim is eager to return to the aggressive style that earned him 16 finishes in 18 victories.
Randy “Rudeboy” Brown, a UFC veteran since 2016, has quietly built momentum of his own, winning eight of his last ten bouts. His crushing knockout of Nicolas Dalby — the only man to defeat Bonfim — has set the stage for this pivotal clash between two surging contenders.
