APFC Announces Six Title Fights Across March Doubleheader
APFC will be starting 2026 where they ended 2025 and with a championship doubleheader.
Just like APFC 21, APFC 22 will emanate from Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on March 22. One week later, on March 29, APFC 23 takes place at Landmark Credit Union Live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Coming off his APFC Welterweight Championship victory in November, Jalin “The Gentleman” Fuller will make the first defense of his title against Christian “The Titan” Turner. The 33-year-old Fuller captured the championship with a ninja choke submission of Mark Kolker, earning his second APFC Submission of the Year candidate finish of 2025. Turner, 23, a native of Atlanta, enters the bout riding a seven-fight win streak, with five of those victories coming by first-round finish.
At APFC 21, James Pleasant captured the promotion’s Lightweight Championship by submitting Jess Martinez, who stepped in as a replacement for Emmanuel Sanchez due to a medical emergency. The bout has now been rebooked for March 22, with Sanchez receiving a clean bill of health. The former APFC Welterweight Champion will be the first challenger to Pleasant’s Lightweight reign.
A week later, APFC returns to its Midwest base of operations for a historic night of firsts.
Middleweight Champion Roland Runlap will attempt to become the promotion’s first two-division champion when he challenges for the inaugural APFC Light Heavyweight Championship against Alaskan knockout artist Al Matavo.
The inaugural APFC Bantamweight Champion will also be crowned as submission specialist Gabriel Wanderlayfaces surging contender Enzo Perez, who enters the fight on a four-fight winning streak.
On the amateur side, Carlos Moreno will square off against Austin Haverkamp for the APFC Amateur Bantamweight Championship, while Ashanti Olofintila meets Johnny Medina for the APFC Amateur Featherweight title.
Four APFC championship belts will be on the line in one night, as the promotion kicks off 2026 with one of the most title-loaded stretches in its history.
