PFL Madrid Results

For the first time, the Professional Fighters League touches down in Madrid, Spain, with middleweight gold on the line in a rematch six years in the making.

The Palacio Vistalegre hosts an 11-fight card headlined by champion Costello van Steenis, who defends his title for the first time since capturing it with a dramatic last-second submission over Johnny Eblen.

Standing across from him is England’s Fabian Edwards, the man who edged van Steenis by split decision in their 2020 meeting.

Van Steenis enters on a three-fight winning streak, firmly in his prime, with all three victories coming by stoppage. Edwards matches that momentum with three wins of his own, highlighted by knockout victories over former PFL light heavyweight champion Impa Kasanganay and a devastating head-kick finish of Dalton Rosta.

Title implications loom large in the co-main event as former Bellator champion and No. 2-ranked featherweight AJ McKee takes on No. 4-ranked Hungarian contender Ádám Borics.
