Blood 4 Blood Delivers Chaos as Cameron Delano Stops Alex Terrible
Bare Knuckle and metal combined for a smashingly violent and wildly entertaining night at Blood 4 Blood.
In the main event, professional bull rider Cameron Delano stopped Alex the Terrible in the third round after a dramatic back-and-forth battle. Earlier in the evening, Slaughter to Prevail opened the show with a live performance that helped turn the event into a one-of-a-kind spectacle.
Delano came out sharp, dropping Alex “The Terrible” Shikolai with a short right hand that knocked the singer off balance for the first knockdown of the fight. In the second, Delano landed a beautiful left hook-right cross combination that sent Shikolai to the canvas again.
Just when it looked like the finish was imminent, Shikolai fired back with a wild punch that sent Delano stumbling and swung the momentum in his favor. Sensing an opportunity, the Slaughter to Prevail frontman pressed forward aggressively to start the third, but Delano answered with a perfectly timed right hand straight down the middle. When Shikolai rose and stumbled back toward his corner, the referee waved off the fight.
The unique event also featured performances from Crowbar, Malevolence, and Black Label Society.
In the co-main event, Jake Bostwick knocked out Roderick Stewart in the second round, extending his winning streak to four straight and moving closer to the BKFC middleweight rankings.
Stewart used his reach advantage effectively in the opening round, pumping his jab and staying disciplined defensively to avoid Bostwick’s counters. In the second, however, Bostwick made a key adjustment against Stewart’s Philly shell defense. Instead of looping overhand shots, he shortened his punches and landed a devastating right cross that ended the fight at 1:25 of Round 2.
Elsewhere on the card, “The Killer B” Taylor Starling earned a second-round TKO victory over Sydney Smith, who accepted the fight on just one week’s notice.
Starling opened a cut over Smith’s left eye during the very first exchange. In the second round, an overhand right badly hurt Smith, and with her trapped against the ropes, Starling unleashed a barrage of punches that forced the referee to stop the contest. Despite the defeat, Smith showed plenty of toughness and heart against one of BKFC’s perennial title contenders.
The night began with heavyweight action as Kratos demolished Brock Walker in the opening round. The heavily muscled Russian overwhelmed Walker with crushing right hands in the clinch, scoring four knockdowns before the fight was stopped at 1:07 of the first round. It marked an emphatic BKFC debut for the 12-fight MMA veteran.
