Chavez Promotions Opens Reina De Guerra Gym
Joe and Isabel Chavez are New Mexico people and they are proud Boxing people and the thought of helping both New Mexico and helping kids they have opened the new La Reina De Guerra Gym at 1624 Goff SW.
The guy has been open for a month an a half now. With about 60 members the impact on the community is already being felt. The gym is not only for boxing, offering morning and afternoon fitness classes from 9:30am–10:30am and 12:00pm-1:00pm. The Boxing picks back up at night with a 5:30pm-6:30pm and 6:30pm-till late.
This gym has energy, enthusiasm and respected professionals running the gym head trainer Robert Padilla and pro Boxer Vicotria Cisneros 2nd in command . The future is bright for this gym and now a community has a gym of their own.
The gym has been doing so well that thought’s of expansion are already underway. The gym will also play host on Thursday June 27, at 2:00pm to the weigh-ins for the Chavez Promotions “Aztec Warriors” event which takes place on Friday June 28 at the Albuquerque Convention Center; headlined by Cristian “El Puma” Cabral facing Joe Gomez.
