Josh Koscheck and Paul Daley have been sligging mud back and forth since the minute Koscheck signed with Bellator MMA. The rivals who settled nothsubsequent th there encounter at UFC 113, will both be in action at Bellator 148, but for ressons we can only guess about, they are not fighting each other.
January 29th in Fresno, California Josh Koscheck (17-10) will make his Bellator debut against Matt Secor (7-2). Koschecks bitter rival Paul Daley (37-13-2) will be on the card facing Andy Uhrich (11-5).
Koscheck will be looking to end a 5 fight losing streak, that has sean, the TUF 1 alum stopped 4 times, twice via TKO, and twice via submission. Koscheck’s last win came via split decision over Mike Pierce in February of 2012. Secor has won 3 straight, with submissions of Brett Shoenfelt and Jeremie Holloway.
Daley last fought at Bellator “Dynamite” taking a decision win over Fernando Gonzalez in a Glory Kickboxing bout. In the cage Daley has won his last 4 coming off a 2 nd round TKO of Dennis Olson. Uhrich in his last 3 fightsvhas defeated Codale Ford, Marcus Andrusia, and Bobby Cooper, all by decision.
Who could forget UFC 113 when after being out wrestled and held down for 15 minutes the final bell sounded and Paul Daley sucker punched Koscheck; subsquently losing the fight an his job. That moment has led them to having a deep dislike for one another. It’s still expected that one day this fued will be settled.
