The best event in the History of Glory KickBoxing is happening today at Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. A 3 part show, with 3 titles on the line, including the crowning of the 1st Glory Woman’s champion. All leading up to the Heavyweight main event between Gurrent Glory Heavyweight Champion Rico Verhoeven (49-10, 13KO’s) & Legend Badr Hari (106-12, 94 KO’s).
The Glory 36 main event will see number 1 contender, Belgium’s Marat Grigorian (46-9-2, 26 KO’s) challenging Thailand’s Sittchai (108-29-5, 29 KO’s) in his first defense of the Glory Lightweight title. Back in March Sittichai defeated Grigorian by unanimous decision at Glory 28.
The Super Fight Series will see a pair of Women’s Super Bantamweight Grand Prix Semifinals, that will see the winners face off for the championship on the “Collision” part of the card.The Super Fight Series featured bout is in the Light Heavyweight division with Germany’s Danyo Ilunga (57-10, 44 KO’s) against Dutchmen Michael Duut (38-6, 17 KO’s).
Along with the crowning of the Women’s Super Bantamweight champion, Glory Collision will see number 4 ranked contender Cedric Dombe (56-4-1, 35 KO’s) of France challenging reigning Glory Welterweight Champion Nieky Holzken (90-11, 46 KO’s), for the title, who’s a perfect 12-0 in Glory. The main event of the evening is regining Glory Heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven who’s cleaned out the division with 11 staright wins, in a non-title bout against legend Badr Hari who’s career has slowed down, but has won 9 of 10.
