10 Matches Make up Throw Down in Alien Town
School of Hard Knock will be a the Roswell Convention Center, July 22nd presenting Throw Down in Alien Town, a night of professional Boxing.
The 10 fight card has at the top of it Roswell’s own John “Smiley” Herrera, a defensive minded fighter, against the always game, Gene “The Kid” Perez of Perez Fighting Systems in Belen NM. Both 
fighters throw looking for the knock out and have been in the ring with the top prospects New Mexico has to offer.
MMA vets, Roswell’s Richard Villa and El Paso’s Cesar Zamarrripa, will traded in the 4oz mma gloves to step in the ring to throw leather at each other, without the worry of take downs. Undefeated Isidro “King” Castillo III, of Hobbs, NM, is currently without an opponent, but is scheduled to be in action.
In a Heavyweight collision Roswell’s Israel Huerta tangles with Omar Acosta of Force of One in Clovis, NM. Roswell’s Steven Serrano squares off with Derek Perez of Belen and Roswell’s Javier Cepeda
meets Hobbs’s Jorrel Sparenberg. 
Both contest will see the victor get there first professional boxing win.
In a battle of fighters making their pro debuts Roswell’s Raymond
Lara, takes on Herford TX, Tim Ruiz. Rowell’s Augstin Perez Jr. makes him pro debut against Herford TX, Paco Castillo. Also making his pro debut Joseph Cuellar of Tulare Cal, faces Ramon Lopez of El Paso TX. The final announced fight also has Roswell vs. El Paso as Lazaro Jay Dominguez takes on Shem Prieto.
