Diego Sanchez Returns to 170 lbs. Faces an Immortal November 11
For the first time in over 4 and half years Diego Sanchez will compete as a Welterweight.
At UFC Fight Night 120, at the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia, Diego Sanchez (27-10) will take on Matt “The Immortal” Brown (20-16).
Sanchez earned the title of “The Original Ultimate Fighter” by winning season 1 of the reality show at Middleweight. Sanchez in his card has fought in 4 different weight classes, going down all the way down to Featherweight in his career and even earning title shot at Lightweight. Sanchez is 3-3 in his last 6 and will be looking to rebound from a 1st round knock out to Al Iaquinta. Brown has 18 of his 20 win by stoppage with 12 knock outs. From 2012 to May of 2014 Brown won 7 staright, but has since lost 5 of 6 and is looking to end a 3 fight skid.
