Several Fights official for October’s LFA 24
Legacy Fight Alliance has Announced they will be back in the valley of the sun, October 13, with a Welterweight feature attraction.
LFA 24 takes place Oct. 13 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, main card broadcasted on AXS TV.
The 170 lbs. main event will see Australian native, Matthew Frincu against California’s Curtis Millender. Frincu is a smooth striker with a 75% finishing rate, Currently on a 4 fight win streak, coming off a LFA 11 main event TKO of Maicon Mendonca. Millender is a roll up the sleeves and get the dirty work done kind of fighter is a 3x Bellator vet, who has 9 of 12 wins by decision, and is also currently on a 4 fight win streak.
In the co main event Joey Miolla returns to action for the first time in over a year against Vinicius Zani. Miolla last fought at RFA 44, scoring a submission win over TJ Brown. Zani has won 3 straight, most recently defeating William Joplin, by TKO, at LFA- Sioux Falls Fight Night 1.
Additionally world-class BJJ practitioner Mackenzie Dern will face Mandy Polk in a women’s Flyweight match-up. Undefeated in MMA, with a submission and a pair of decisions, Dern has had problems with the scale twice missing weight, causing this move up in weightclass. Polk had a 3 fight win streak ended at RFA 47, losing by TKO to Katy Collins.
