Finalized Card for Aztec Warfare 2
This Saturday, at the Hispanic Cultural Center, Legacy Boxing Promotions presents Aztec Warfare 2, a 6 fight card, with 28 scheduled rounds.
The main event will see Albuquerque’s undefeated Aaron “Angel Baby” Perez taking on Durango, Durango, Mexico’s, Jose Antonio Martinez. Perez is a perfect 4 for 4, 4 fights, 4 victories, 4 finishes. “Angel Baby” is coming off a August win in Hobbs, NM, over Gene Perez. Martinez a journeymen with 55% of his wins by knock out, coming off a decision win over Jorge Ortega.
Returning to the ring for the first time in almost 6 years, in the co-main event Albuquerque’s Willie Villanueva faces off with Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico’s Ricardo Alan Fernandez.
In a womens feature fight Brandi “Baby Doll” Montoya’s returns faces Cecilia Renova. Montoya was last in action in October of 2012, defeating Cristina Fuentes at the Kiva Aufitorium. Renova has only fought once professionally, handing Amberly Trujillo a decision loss at the Pueblo Pavilion in Santa Fe, in January of 2013.
Undefeated fighters face off when Ronnie “The Mongoose” Baca of Albuquerque, NM squares off with Issac Luna of El Paso, Tx. Nearly two years away from the ring, Albuquerque’s, Jose Luis Sanchez returns taking on Oklahoma City’s Anthony Hill. Getting it all going is a Duke City throw-down as Andre Galarza faces Daniel Garcia-Flores.
Friday at 3 pm, free & open to the public weigh-in’s for Aztec Warfare 2 take place at the Ramada Hotel Midtown (formerly the MCM Elegante).
