Las Cruces Hosting Boxing Fight Night
MSFT Productions in conjunction with School of Hard Knocks Promotions are bringing Professional Boxing back to southern New Mexico.
Boxing Fight Night will be Saturday October 30th at the Las Cruces Convention Center.
The main event will see Belen’s Derek “Rage” Perez from Perez Fighting Systems against El Paseo’s Dewayne “Go DJ” Bonds. Bonds has won six in a row four by way of knockout. Perez has a fan friendly and with experience in Boxing, MMA, & Bare Knuckle that anyone, anywhere under any rules is not just talk.
In the co-main event Las Cruces own Amy Salinas an ABF champion will take on Texas native Indeya Smith. Salinas will fight for the first time since a beating Samantha Salazar in August of 2019 winning the ABF USA Female Super Flyweight Title. Smith made her pro debut under the Holmes Boxing banner pulling off an upset TKO win over Leanna Martinez. The 24-year-old has primarily fought in the southwest along with a trip to New York where she fought at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
In a battle between fighter making their pro debuts Edgar Lerma faces Mikey Tovar. The same goes for Isabel Garcia against Stephanie Han, sister of well-known pugilists Jennifer & Abe Han. Opponents are searches are currently on going for Brandon White, Jorge Tovar, Alex McGee, & Rene Palacios.
