SOHK Pro Boxing Event Preview -

The Corral Arena in Hobbs is hosting School of Hard Knocks Pro Boxing Event this Saturday night.

Isidro Castillo has put together a scheduled nine-fight card eight Boxing matches and a single Bare-Knuckle bout including six unbeaten pugilists.

The main event pits Lubbock’s Ira Herrera from Copperhead Boxing and Fitness against Michael Andrews from The Works & Section 8 Boxing in Hobbs. After having been around the sport for twenty years Ira Herrera made a successful pro debut this past August defeating Isaac Sifuentez by TKO. Andrews, training for the last 13-years stopped Dylan Nicholson his last time in the ring.

The co-main event is a Bare-Knuckle boxing match as 40-fight vet of Boxing Tavorus Teague form California takes on Cornhusker Sterling Lentz. In the feature fight Olympian Abraham “The Hammer” Perez coming off coming off shellacking Matthew Melton for three-minutes in his pro debut will take on Midwest scrapper Kenneth Jamerson from Muskegon Michigan. Someone perfect record will get a blemish as Midland’s Kerman Rendon faces Hobbs own Yhorhighness Rezzaq.
