Rezzaq vs. Tovar headlines School of Hard Knocks March 12th Card
Isidro Castillo’s School of Hard Knocks promotions will be back at the Pan Am Center in Las Cruces NM for a full night of pugilistic excitement on March 12th.
The main event will see Yhorhighness Rezzaq from Hobbs NM against unbeaten Jorge Tovar from El Paseo Tx. Yhorhighness Rezzaq won his pro debut knocking out Mark Sanchez & eight months later beat Michael Sanchez by decision. In three-months of being a professional Jorge Tovar has racked knockouts of Coalton Alford & Andre Mack.
Back in October Indeya Smith pulled off the upset defeating Amy Salinas by split decision. The rematch has earned co-main event honors. Riding an eight-fight win streak, Dewayne Bonds is set to take on 40-fight vet Tavorus Teague. On a three-fight win streak, Belen’s Ricardo Reyes will square off with Armando Rodriguez who’s returning to action after nearly seven years away. Also, on a three-fight win streak Alec McGee will take on 40-fight vet Manuel Rubalcaba.
The opener is scheduled to see Anthony Jones nine-years after his pro debut against Martin Sollano who won his first two fights in 2019 before his current layoff. In a battle between fighter making their pro debut, Garret Lopez of Las Cruces NM tangles with Victor Aranda of El Paso TX. The search is on going for an opponent to face Daniel Trevino who’ll be making his pro debut. Stephine Han won her pro debut in October and like Trevino is still awaiting a willing opponent to sign on the dotted line.
