Quartet of Fights Announced for Bellator 279
Hawaii’s first MMA event since the pandemic began is set for April.
Bellator 279 will take place the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu on April 23rd. The card will see championship fights. In a Bantamweight Grand Prix quarterfinal champion Sergio “The Phenom” Pettis defends against his teammate Raufeaon Stots, who’s on a nine-fight win streak. Cris Cyborg looks for her fourth scuccessful title defense of the Bellator Women’s Featherweight championship when she defends against Australia’s Arlene Blencowe in a remacth. In another Bantamweight Grand Prix quarterfinal former champion Kyoji Horiguchi battles submission artist Patchy “No Love” Mix. Former Women’s Flyweight champion, Hawaii’s own Ilima-Lie Macfarlane will square off with UFC vet Justine Kish.
