Richman vs. Doolittle Headlines 11-Fight BKFC 31 Card
For the first-time Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will be in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains for BKFC Denver in mid-October.
The event will see a battle between two fighters unbeaten in the BKFC squared circle as Mike “The Marine” Richman faces off against Isaac Doolittle. Richman a 11-fight vet of Bellator MMA came to Bare Knuckle with nine of his eighteen wins in MMA by knockout. “The Marine” heads into his third BKFC main event after knocking out Dakota Cochrane & David Rickles in the previous two occasions. Doolittle a pro fighter since 2018 jumped over to Bare-Knuckle in 2020. A knockout of John McAllister captured the attention of BKFC. Since signing with the promotion, the 31-year-old racked up decision wins over Brandon Johnson, Jay Jackson, & Jared Warren.
The co-main event will see 16-fight Bellator vet Brandon Girtz make his Bare-Knuckle debut against UFC vet Jake Lindsey. Lindsey is 2-0 in BKFC defeating Eric Thompson & Derrick Findley by knockout.
In the feature fight position Chris Camozzi battles fellow UFC vet Bubba McDaniel. Colorado’s Camozzi has also fought in the PFL as well as Glory one of the top Kickboxing promotions in the world. McDaniel has a 3-fight stint in the UFC after being part of TUF 17. The fighter nicknamed “The Menace” went on to win nine of his next eleven MMA fights. There’s Kickboxing and Muay Thai on his resume but this will be McDaniel’s first time taking the gloves off.
“The Cuddly Bear” Josh Copeland a vet of the UFC, WSOF, & PFL makes his Bare-Knuckle debut against Levi Costa who stopped Josh Sanched in 95 seconds at BKFC 25.
Plus 64-fight vet Melvin Guillard returns after a year away from action to face Evgeny Kurdanov. The featured prelim will see the BK debut of New Mexico MAM & Muay Thai vet Josh Todd. Todd will face Gabriel Mota who knocked out Travis Lerchen in 35 seconds at BKFC 25.
BKFC 31 Denver: takes place October 15th at the 1st Bank in Broomfield, Colorado.
