DCCW 3 Results, Final 4 Remain in Heavyweight title Tournament

Duke City Championship Wrestling one again packed out the Historic El Rey Theater to see who would take a step closer to having their name immortalized as the First DCCW champion.

The four DCCW Heavyweight Championship tournament bouts took place with the championship belt viewing from the isle.

Main event -Chuey Martinez vs. Mosh Pit Mike

The match started quickly as Martinez attacked Mike before the opening bell.  From chokes to hair pull and eye gauging Martinez pull out all the stops to inflict pain on the man his called partner for 16-years. Chief went as far as to wrap Mosh Pit up in a steel chair slamming him against the ring pole and to the Theater floor. The tide would turn in Mike favor as he found the space to land his south valley  strikes. The final blow would come in the form over a Vader splash elbow drop.

Turbo Tony vs Happy the Clown

It was no laughing matter as Turbo Tony cheated his way past Happy the Clown. Happy left his mark and Tony with Calais across the chest. As Happy looked close to his desired results Mathew Roblez emerged from the back distracting the ref long enough for Turbo to utilize Happy’ own flamingo against him. The brutal back shot putting the clown down for the night. Roblez giving Turbo the hand signal to call him later. 

Hobo Hank vs jerry Vandetta

Local favorite Hobo Hank punched his ticket to the semifinals in impressive fashion.  Hank had to reach deep in his bag of tricks bring and armpit stink facing Jerry Vandetta in return for an eye rake. While Vandetta attempted to put Hanks championship dreams to rest he got caught by a freak storm in the form of a tornado DDT for the three.

Sid the Kid Luciano vs. Thunder

In the nights first of four quarterfinal bouts we had a hard hitting affair. Thunder took control with his suplexs. Sid fought back hard and even score two theee counts that didn’t count becomes of taking place outside of the ring. A vicious bolt of lightning propelled Thunder into the semifinals.

After intermission, Commissioner Chris Burnett came to the ring displaying the also important Duke City Championship Wrestling title.

The final four is set as Turbo and Thunder will square off in one semifinal the other will see Hobo Hank vs Mosh Pit Mike at the Duke City Championship Wrestling event in September.

Valak Vile vs. Fonzi vs. Tommy Two Scoops Test

The adoration from the fans was evident from the moment “Two Scoops” walked through the curtain.  While Valak Vile was disinterested in the triple threat format. Tommy Teat thrived utilizing a symphony of suplexs to disable his adversaries. A good old fashion back body drop secures the finish.

Tyler Copeland  vs “Asian Warrior” Shawn Lao

Tyler Copeland came away victorious in his promotional debut but made no friends along the way. For the majority of the match Shawn Lau had Tyler’s head spinning as he tired to keep up with the “Asian Warrior”. Copeland utilized a foreign object to distract the refs attention taking the opportunity to low blow Lao. a TKO in the middle of the ring sealed the deal.

The crowd was as excited as ever to see the DCCW debut of Mathew Roblez who promised his army would be unleashed at the right time.

Valentina Loca vs Veronica Hey

The luncha style of Valentina Loca was countered by the power of Flower Child Veronica Hey. Not even a 619 from Loca was enough to put away Hey. The end came in stunning fashion as a Loca Ruissian Leg Sweep saw Hey’s arm land on top for the three count.

American Kickboxer 2 vs Manny Lee

The card open with American Kickboxer 2 vs Manny Lee.The only thing faster than Manny Lee’s was his thinking as he took advantage of American Kickerboxer 2’s momentary lack of concentration for a school boy roll up pin.
