Perry vs Alvarez headlines BKFC 56
For their first trip to the Beehive state BKFC is pulling out all the stops.
The main event will see two of the biggest stars in the sport going head to head as “Platinum” Mike Perry squares off with former Bellator champion “The Underground King” Eddie Alvarez.
One of the biggest men in BKFC “Big” Ben Rothwell will face off with fellow UFC vet Todd Duffee. Rothwell has impressed with two brutal performances inside the squares circle. Duffee is most well known for a 7 second knockout at UFC 102.
The card will also feature four championship bouts. In a rematch for the BKFC Women’s Flyweight title “Rowdy” Bec Rawlings again challenges Christine “The Misfit” Ferea. Rawlings had early success against the champ at BKFC 41, before a cut forced a premature end to the fight.
The animosity hit a breaking point at the BKFC 50 weigh-ins when Howard Davis confronted BKFC Featherweight champion Kai Stewart. The two will get a chance to workout their difference in opinion of who is the best featherweight in the Bare Knuckle world.
Alan Belcher’s exit from BKFC left the Heavyweight title vacant. The belt will have a home after former champion Arnold Adams battles heralded Englishman Mick Terrill.
UFC vet and one of the hardest punchers in MMA Jeremy “Lil Heathen” Stephen’s makes his BKFC debut against Jimmie “El Terror” Rivera. Rivera has gone the distance with title challenger Howard Davis and won a decision over Bekzod Osmonov.
BKFC 56 is scheduled for December 2nd at the Maverick Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah
