FightWorld 31, Montrel James vs Ty Miller headlines 13-Fight Card
Two days after Thanksgiving FightWorld MMA returns to the Revel Entertainment Center in Albuquerque, NM for FightWorld 31.
The main event will see the highly anticipated return of one of New Mexico’s top prospects, Albuquerque’s unbeaten Ty Miller squaring off against Houston’s Montrel James. Miller won his pro debut in 2022 by first round knockout at FightWorld 21. Since then the Fit NHB fighter has won pair of decision under the CFFC banner. James has a wealth of experience under his belt that including between 13 to 15 professional MMA bouts depending on where you look and 12 professional Boxing matches. “Too Cold” has a busy three weeks closing out July by submitting Marty Navis and three weeks later beat Raymond Handson by decision in a boxing match.
The co-main event will also be in the welterweight division with Albuquerque’s Sterling Peak taking on El Paso’s Travis Arrellano. At FightWorld 28 Perez Fighting Systems, Sterling Peak won his pro debut out working Julian Perez for a decision win. Arrellano represents Elite KB Academy & 10th Planet BJJ, he’s also coming off a successful pro debut stopping Korey Windham with strikes in the first round at LFA 164.
The 11-fight undercard will included fighters from such gyms at Baca Fight Systems, Fit NHB, Zen Martial Arts, Otero Combat Sports, Duke City MMA, San Juan BJJ, Sandoval Fight Systems, Borg Martial Arts, Santa Fe BJJ, Elite KB Academy.
Weigh-in’s for FightWorld MMA 31 take place at Uptown Funk in the Revel Entertainment Center at 4:30 p.m. MT on Black Friday. On Fight Night, Saturday the doors at the Rebel Entertainment Center open at 6 p.m. and the first bell is set for 7 p.m. MT. Tickets still available.
