BKFC Heads North of the Border for Prospect Series
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will debut in Canada with a Prospect Series event in March.
The River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton Alberta Canada will host the BKFC Prospect Series on March 2nd. Canada is the sixth nation to embrace the sport of Bare-Knuckle joining England, the United States, Mexico, Thailand, & Bulgaria.
The March 2nd headliner will see Devin “The Canadian Assassin” Gibson squaring off against number two ranked flyweight Tyler Randall. Gibson has a pair of wins inside the circle defeating Ray Lopez by unanimous decision & knocking out Kody Alten Murray in the fourth round at BKFC New York Fight Night 2. Randall like his opponent has two wins in BKFC. Randall beat Darwin Bonilla by unanimous decision & claimed a third of Joshua Richey at BKFC 23.
The co-main event will be in the Women’s Flyweight division as Quebec, Canada’s Jade Masson-Wong faces Colorado’s Gabrielle Roman. In May Masson-Wong beat Taylor Starling by unanimous decision in the Fight of the Night at BKFC 43. The 31-year-old closed out 2023 defeating Elifeth Lopez in a traditional Boxing match. Roman endeared herself to hardcore fans immediately after taking Khortni Kamyron to the distance on short notice and up 15 lbs. Back in her natural weight class Martyna Krol only lasted a round with Roman.
