Top Ranked Strawweights Meet at UFC 225 in Chicago
Strawweights, Number 3 ranked contender Claudia Gadhela (15-3) and number 6 ranked contender Carla Esparza (13-4) will meet at UFC 225.
UFC 225 is set for June 9 in Chicago, Illinois.
Claudia Gadelha 29, from Brazil is a former title challenger, who moved her training for her last few camps to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Gadelha has won 2 of 3, but is looking to rebound from a decision loss to Jessica Andrade.
Carla “Cookie Monster” Esparza, 30 from Los Angeles, California, was the inaugural Invicta FC & UFC Strawweight Champion. The Team Oyama Fighter has won consecutive decisions over Maryna Moroz & Cynthia Calvillo.
