Carmouche meets Bohm in Bellator 243 headliner

The Bellator MAM debut of Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche will come in the main event of Bellator 243 against “Monster” Many Bohm.

Bellator 243 is set for May 29th at the Pechanga, Resort & Casino in Temecula, California.

Carmouche (13-7) is a women’s MMA pioneer who was part of the first women’s fight in UFC history facing Ronda Rousey at UFC 157.  The “Girl-Rilla” finished her 10-fight stint with the UFC winning two of the final three, taking decision wins over Jennifer Maia & Lucia Pudilova, to earn a flyweight title shot. A five round affair that would would go in favor of the champion Valentina Shevchenko. The Team Hurricane Awesome fighter has eight stoppage victories, six by way of submission.

Bohm (6-0) is an unbeaten fighter from Gelsenkirchen, Germany, who trains out of SBG in Ireland. The “Monster” makes her Bellator debut coming off submitting Jade Masson-Wong at TKO 48, by third round rear naked choke. Bohm has four finishes, the other three have all come in the first round, two by TKO.
