Luttrell’s MMA: The Fight Authority & Pro Nutrition is Open & Changing The Game
Last week Sal Gomez of Gomez Photography and myself had the opportunity to take a tour of the new Pro Nutrition/ Luttrell’s Fight MMA; which officially opened yesterday (Dec. 15) and what we saw left us at aw.
The front of the building starts off as the Pro Nutrition shop complete with juice bar, MMA corner, and what is said to be some of the healthiest and most natural supplements available. Also there’s am om site nutritionist to help you come up with your game-plan.
Just behind that is the weight gym, still being completed. This area will have your traditional cardiovascular equipment, free weights, kettle bells, and a boxing ring.
From there you have the offices of Pro Nutrition and Coach Chris Luttrells, which leads to the class room to woman’s self-dense classes. This room also serves as the kitchen for the upstairs 4-room dorm rooms equip to house 16 fighters. These dorms still have room available.
Behind this huge facility lies an open, paved area that will have bleachers as Luttrell’s MMA plans to have amateur smokers in the future. Where the east bleachers will stand is against another large building and that’s where the blood gets spilled. This mated room, will have a row of punching bags hanging from the ceiling and a boxing ring is to e set up in the far corner of the room. A cage is also soon to be erected . Everything you need to train your skills in one building and everything you need to be your best on all levels is 10 feet away.
This is taking the idea of an MMA team to the next level. From the partnership an sponsorship that Pro Nutrition, a locally owned and focused business, and Luttrell’s have joined in. To the dorms, which I’m sure is a huge re-leaf for the fighters who move to Albuquerque to train. Not to mention having a gym gym on the grounds too. This facility is one of a kind and to me is a look into the future. Currently Luttrell’s MMA has 45 fighters and now they all have a tremendous amount of resources at their finger tips. I expect even bigger thing to come from this camp. The facility should be fully completed by January.
