Anthony Pettis Injured Chan Sun Jung Face Jose Aldo at UFC 163
The UFC had announced that Anthony “Showtime” Pettis (16-2) is out of UFC 163 and Instead “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jun (13-3) will challenge UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo (22-1).

Since the WEC-UFC merger Chan Sung Jung has won 3 fights in a row over Leonard Garcia (SUB), Mark Hominick (KO), and Dustin Poirier (SUB). Jung was expected to face Ricardo Lamas (13-2) at UFC 162. The win over Poirier came in May of 2012, “The Korean Zombie” has been sidelined since due to injuries. Jung has 8 of 11 stoppage wins by submission.
Jose Aldo has won 15 fights in a row including wins over Mark Hominick (UD), Kenny Florian (UD), Chad Mendes (KO), and Frankie Edgar (UD); since the WEC-UFC merger. In total Aldo has successfully defend the WEC-UFC Featherweight title 6 times. Aldo has 13 of 15 stoppage wins by KO/TKO.
UFC 163 take place on August 3, at the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
