Pepey Out Arantes in vs. Sicilia at UFC Fight Night 28
Godofredo Pepey (9-2) has been forced out of his scheduled Fight Night 28 bout with Sam Sicilia (11-3), and will be replaced by Felipe “Sertanejo”Arantes (15-5-1).
Pepey, is coming off a TKO a loss to Felipe Arantes, following a split decision win over Milton Vieira.
Sicilia, since a KO of Crisitano Marcello has lost back to back bouts to Rony Jason (TKO) and Maximo Blanco (UD).
Arantes is 2-0-1 in his last 3 fights with wins over Antonio Carvalho (UD) and Godofredo Pepey (TKO) on either side of a draw with Milton Vieira.
UFC Fihgt Night 28 takes place on September 4, at the Jornalista Drumond Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil; and is headlined by Glover Teixeira vs. Ryan “Darth” Bader.
