Sursa Out, McSweeney In Main Event vs. Buentello at Legacy FC 22
It’s been announced that TUF season 10 Alum James “The Hammer” McSweeney (11-10), will replace Marcus Sursa (12-8), in the upcoming Legacy FC 22 Light Heavyweight main event against Paul Buentello (32-15).
McSweeny is coming off of a TKO win over Dion Staring at CFA 10. Since halting a 4 fight losing streak in August of 2011 “The Hammer” has gone 7-2, with all his wins by stoppage with 3 TKO’s and 4 submissions.
Buentello has won 3 fights in a row, knocking out Igor Kostin and Mike Cook, while bettering Igor Kostin by decision in a rematch. Sursa, ended a 2 fight losing streak in his last bout with a submission win over Eric Schambari.
Legacy FC 22 takes place on August 23, in Lubbock, Texas.
