Murphy Out, Papazian In vs. Robles at WSOF 4
Incurring a rib injury Joe Murphy has been forced to pull out of his scheduled WSOF 4, Bantamweight bout with John Robles (7-1) who will instead go to battle with Jared “The Jackhammer” Papazian (15-10).
Making this bout even more intriguing is that Robles and Papazian know each other well being close friends.
John Robles since a loss to Caleb Vallottom, had back to back wins over Juan Rivas (SD) and Steven Barajas (KO). Roble has 6 of 7 wins by KO/TKO.
Jared Papazian is coming off a submission loss to Brandon Bender. Just a bout prior “The Jackhammer” ended a 3 fight skid, in the UFC and saw Papazian released from the UFC; with a decision win over Terrion Ware.
WSOF 4 takes place on August 10, at the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, California, and is headlined by Tyrone “The King of the Ring” Spong vs. Angel “The Dream” Deanda in a Light Heavyweight clash.
