Holly Holm vs. Erica Paes added to Legacy FC 24
Former Women’s Boxing world champion Holly “The Preacher’s Daughter” Holm (4-0) will step into the Legacy FC cage for the second time at Legacy FC 24 against the only women willing to take the fight Erica Paes (2-2).
Holm in her MMA career has so far defeated Christina Domke (TKO), Jan Finney (KO), Katie Merrill (TKO), and most recently Allanna Jones (KO); in Holm’s Legacy debut.
Paes started her MMA career in May of 2007 with a kneebar submission of Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino. In Paes next fight she would suffer a knockout loss to Dina Van den Hooven. After 8 years away from the sport Paes is 1-1 in 2013, having submitted Gisele Maciel; and most recently losing a unanimous decision to Bethe Correia at Jungle Fight 54.
Legacy FC 24 takes place on October 11, at the Allen Event Center in Dallas, Texas. The main event will see a Bantamweight battle between “The Angel of Death” Damacio Page and Ryan Benoit.
