Moraga vs. Uyenoyama added to UFC on Fox 9
A Flyweight scrap pitting former title challenger John Moraga (13-2) opposite grappling expert Darren Uyenoyama (8-4) , has been added to the UFC on Fox 9 event in Sacramento.
Moraga is looking to bounce back after a 7 fight win streak, that included UFC wins over Ulysses Gomez (KO) and Chris Cariaso (SUB), earned a title shot at Demetrious Johnson; and end in submission.
Uyenoyama is coming off a knock out loss to Joseph Benavidez at UFC on Fox 7. Uyenoyama had consecutive wins over Shuichiro Katsumura, “Kid” Yamamoto, and Phil Harris; prior to the loss.
UFC on Fox 9 takes place on Decmeber 14, at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California; and is headlined by Josh “The Punk” Thomson challenging Anthony “Showtime” Pettis for the UFC Lightweight title.
