Shelmenko Defend Against Marshall at Bellator 108
Alexander “Storm” Shelmenko (48-7) will make his second Bellator Middleweight title defense at Bellator 108, on November 15, at the Revel Atlantic City, in New Jersey; against season 8 tournament winner Doug “The Rhino” Marshall (18-6).
Originally this bout was scheduled for Bellator 98, but Marshall was forced to withdraw due to injury. Shelmenko at Bellator 98 defended the Middleweight title against season 8 tournament runner up Brett Cooper, winning the tough all out war by unanimous decision. The win was Shelmenko’s first since knocking out Maiquel Falcao to claim the vacant title.
