UFC Fight Night 33 adds Albu vs. Kedzie
The first UFC women’s bout in Australia will take place at UFC fight Night 33 with newly Aleksandra Albu (1-0 or 5-0) squaring off with Julie Kedzie (16-12).
Albu who hails from Russia, previously was a bodybuilder before entering martial arts. The strange look of Albu’s recorded is because according to reports she has 5 fights but only 1 is legitimately verified, a 1st round TKO in June.
Kedzie a pioneer of Women’s an Invicta FC commentator is currently in the mists of a 3 fight losing streak, including a split decision loss to Germaine de Randamie at UFC on Fox 8.
Additionally rumors are swirling that a Welterweight bout between Sweden’s Andres Stahl (9-0) and Canada’s AlexGarcia (10-1), has also been added to the December 6 card.
UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 7th at the Queensland Capital at Birsbane Entertainment Centre, in Australia; and is headlined by Mark “The Super Saoman” Hunt vs. Antoniio “Big Foot” Silva in a Heavyweight clash.
