Moraga Replaced by Ozkilic vs. Uyenoyama at UFC on Fox 9
Former UFC Flyweight title challenger John Moraga is injured and will be replaced by the debuting Alp Ozkilic (8-1) against grappling ace Darren Uyenoyama (8-4) at UFC on Fox 9.
Ozkilic is on a 3 fight winning streak which includes TKO’s of Josh Robinson and Antonio Banuelos.
Uyenoyama is 2-1 in the UFC with wins over “Kid” Yamamoto (UD) and Phil Harris (sub); but is looking to rebound from a knock out loss by body shot, to Joseph Benavidez.
UFC on Fox 9 takes place at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California; headlined by Joseph Benavidez challenging Demetrious Johnson fro the UFC Flyweight title.
