Rockhold vs. Philippou Headline UFC Fight Night 35
Former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (10-2) will face Boxing expert Constantinos Philippou (12-3-1) in the main event of UFC Fight Night 35 on, Jan. 15 at Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
Rockhold is coming off a knockout loss to Vitor Belfort, which snapped a 9 fight winning streak. Rockhold due to injury had recently withdrawn from a scheduled UFC 166 meeting with Tim Boetsch.
Philippou is coming off a unanimous decision loss Francis Carmont, that halted a 5 fight win streak. During the win streak Philippou knokced out Jared Hamman and Tim Boetsch.
