UFC Fight Night 33 Gagnon vs. Caceres, Canceled

A Bantamweight showdown featuring TUF alum Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres (9-5) against Canadian submission specialist Mitch Gagnon (10-2) that was scheduled for UFC Fight Night 33 has been canceled due to Gagnon having visa issues.

Caceres is undefeated in his last bouts having submitted Damico Page, while getting split decision wins over Motonobu Tezuka and Roland Delorme; also in that time Caceres had a win over Kyung Ho Kang overturned to a no contest after “Bruce Leeroy” tested positive for Marijuana.

Since a promotional debut submission loss to Bryan Caraway, Gagnon has bounced back submitting Walel Watson and Dustin Kimura, both by chokes.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 7th at the Queensland Capital at Birsbane Entertainment Centre, in Australia; and is headlined by Mark “The Super Samoan” Hunt vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva in a Heavyweight clash.
