Rhodes vs. Sullivan Late Addition to UFC on Fox 10
On 9 days notice Mike “Biggie” Rhodes (6-1) and George Sullivan (14-3-0-1) will square off in a Welterweight match-up, making their promotional debut at UFC on Fox 10.
Rhodes vs. Sullivan will be replacing a scheduled Welterweight contest between Pascal Krauss (11-2)and Adam Khaliev (6-0), that was canceled when both men withdrew from the bout for non-announced reasons.
Rhodes a former RFA Welterweight title holder, is a teammate at Roufusport with Pascal Krauss. “Biggie” since being submitted by Bran Thatch at RFA 7, in a bout that Rhodes took on 6 days notice, has a TKO win over Benjamin Smith and a decision win against Alan Jouban.
Sullivan who trains under UFC and Bellator vet Kurt Pellegrino is on a 6 fight winning streak. Dyring this streak 4 of the 6 wins have come by (T)KO, including his last 3 wins all by TKO over Julian Lane, Brandon Becker, and Jesus Martinez.
UFC on Fox 10 takes place on January 25, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois; headlined by a Lightweight meeting between Josh Thomson and Benson Henderson.
