Featherweight Quarterfinals & 6 Prelims Announced for Bellator 110


The season 10 Featherweight tournament will be an 8-man tournament starting with the quarterfinal round at Bellator 110 sharing the spotlight with the first round of the 4-man Light Heavyweight tournament.

The first round Featherweight match-ups will see UFC vet Diego “The Gun” Nunes (18-5) against Matt “The Mangler” Bessette (12-4), who is on a 4 fight win streak. Former tournament finalist, heavy handed Mike “The Marine” Richman (16-3) meets talented wrestler Desmond Green (9-2). German, Daniel “The Weasel” Weichel (31-8) faces Scott Cleve (14-3), who has won 6 straight fights. Topping the prelim portion of the card is the final of the four match-ups with Goiti Yamauchi (16-1), who has 13 win by submission squaring off with Will Martinez (8-2-1), who has won his last 7 fight all by 1st round stoppage.

Making up the rest of the prelims will be Egidijus Valavicius (25-10) vs. Atanas Djambazov (17-3) at Light Heavyweight, Andrew Fisher (12-5) vs. Saul Almedia (12-2) at Featherweight, Ryan Quinn (6-3) vs. Andrew Calandrelli (6-3) at Lightweight, Chris Birchler (5-1) vs. Josh Diekmann (12-5) at Heavyweight, Jake Smith (0-0) vs. Rico Disciullo (1-0) at Bantamweight, and Pat Schultz (8-2) vs. Dave Roberts (5-8) at Light Heavyweight.

Bellator 110 takes place on February 28 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut; featuring “King Mo” vs. Mnikhail Zayats & “Rampage vs. Christian M’Pumbu.
