Seery Replaces McCall Against Pickett at UFC Fight Night 38
The UFC has announced that injured Flyweight Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall (12-4-1) will be replaced at UFC Fight Night by Caged Warriors vet Neil Seery (13-9) who will tangle with “One Punch” Brad Pickett (23-8).
Seery who has won 6 of his last 7 fights is on a 4 fight win streak having knocked out Paul Marin, decision-ed Karl Harrison, and submitted both Mark Platts (rear naked choke) and Mikael Silander (armbar).
Pickett a long time top ten Bantamweight is 4-4 in his last 8 fight and coming off a submission (triangle choke) loss to Michael McDonald; will be making his 125 lbs. debut.
UFC Fight Night 38 takes place on March 8, at the O2 Arena in London, England; headlined by Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson vs. Jimi “ Poster Boy” Manuwa.
