Mousasi Meets Machida in UFC Fight Night Berlin Headliner
The UFC has announced that there May 31st return to Germany will take place at the O2 World in Berlin; headlining the event will be a Middleweight clash of styles as the wrestling base of Mark Munoz (13-4) faces methodical, technical striker Gegard Mousasi (34-4-2).
Munhoz the headman at Reign MMA is 5-2 in his last 7 fights. In his last 3 Munhoz has suffered a pair of knock out losses to Champion Chirs Weidman and top contender Lyoto Machida; with a decision win over Tim Boetsch between.
Mousasi is coming off a decision loss to Lyoto Machida that ended a 7 fight unbeaten streak. In his UFC debut Mousasi was scheduled to face Alexander Gustafsson who dude to a cut fight at the last minute was replaced by Ilir Latifi; who Mousasi while on a torn ACL jabbed through for a decision win.
