Ray Borg Faces Chris Kelades at UFN on February 14
Fit NHB’s Ray “The Tazmexican Devil” Borg (7-1) will step into the octagon for the 3rd time on valentines day when he clashes with fellow Flyweight, Canadian Chris “The Greek Assassin” Kelades (8-1).
Borg after submitting Nick Urso at Legacy FC 30, got the call of a lifetime to join the UFC. 15 days later on short notice Borg would get his first loss on his record; with a split decision loss to Dustin Ortiz. With a full camp to prepare at UFC Fight Night “Swanson vs. Stephens”, Borg submitted Shane Howell, by rear naked choke in the 1st round. Borg is a terror on the mat with 5 of 7 wins by submission.
Kelades has won back to back fights since a Bellator 119, unanimous decision loss to Malsolm Gordon. Both wins have come by decision; including a unanimous decision win over Patrick Holohan at UFC Fight Night “MacDonald vs. Saffiedine”. Kelades has 3 of his 5 stoppage wins by submission.
A Featherweight bout pitting Max Holloway (11-3) vs. Cole Miller (21-8) & a Flyweight bout of Zach Makovsky (18-5) against Tim Elliott (10-5-1) were also announced today.
UFC Fight Night in Broomfield, Colorado, take place on February 14 at the 1st Bank Center.
