Swanson vs Holloway added to UFC on Fox 15
Following a UFC Fight Night Henderson vs. Thatch,unanimous decision win the co-main event against tough vet Cole Miller, Max Holloway (12-3) was offered and accepted to meet Cub Swanson (21-6) on April 15, at UFC on Fox 15, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Holloway is the only person to last to the judges decision against Conor McGregor. Since that decision loss, the 23 year old Hawaiian has won 5 in a row with knock outs of Will Chope, Clay Collard, and Akira Corassani; plus a submission of Andre Filli .
Sawanson will be back in the octagon for the first time since a 5th round submission loss to Frankie Edgar ended a 6 fight win streak. During the win streak Swanson scored knocks of George Roop, Ross Pearson, Charles Oliveira, and Dennis Siver.
This bout joins a card that already included Paige VanZant vs. Felice Herrig, Jim Miller vs Paul Felder, Yoel Romero vs. Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, and a main event of Luke Rockhold vs Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida.
